We have great opportunities for compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienists across Lincolnshire, supporting their commitment to delivering excellent patient care and promoting excellent oral health. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing dental hygiene assessments and providing preventative dental care, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good oral health. Developing tailored oral hygiene plans based on individual patient needs. Applying preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to the teeth. Conducting thorough oral examinations and reporting findings to the dentist. Assisting the dentist during various procedures, when necessary. Maintaining a clean and sterile clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Updating patient records accurately and maintaining confidentiality. Scheduling patient appointments and managing follow-up care plans. Assisting with stock control and ordering of dental hygiene supplies. Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients, providing reassurance and addressing their concerns. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from a recognised institution. Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist. Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in using dental software systems is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach. Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
