Wesley Home Care South is looking for In-home Aged Care Support Workers based across the South West Sydney area including Fairfield, Liverpool, and Canterbury Bankstown local government areas. Other locations across Sydney are also available. If you enjoy working with older people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences and are looking for a rewarding career that offers you flexibility, work-life balance, and opportunities for growth and development, this is the position for you. Multiple positions are available delivering supports to older people across South East Sydney, Inner West, South West Sydney, and the Illawarra area. We are looking for proactive, energetic, empathetic individuals to work with Wesley Mission’s Home Care team. Successful applicants will work with older people supporting them to live independently in the community for as long as possible. In this role, you can expect to undertake a variety of tasks such as personal care, domestic assistance, transport, social support, community participation, and group activities. About Us

Wesley Home Care assists frail aged people to lead fulfilling lives by providing life-enriching supports in the community. We offer quality care, encouraging clients to maintain independence while catering for their social, physical, and spiritual needs. About You
Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or willingness to obtain Current First Aid Certificate Previous experience working with frail aged people, people with dementia, and complex needs Experience in monitoring clients and reporting behavioural or health changes Experience with providing personal care, including the use of mobility aids Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Understanding of WH&S issues and risk management for client home-based care and during transport of clients Comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle and current NSW Driver’s Licence Those speaking a second language are encouraged to apply Experience in the aged care sector is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care Services Industry Award as Home Care Worker Grade 3. Other benefits include: Paid kilometre and travel time Paid training and meeting time Salary packaging opportunities (reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay).
