Project Worker
supporting service users in remand within
HMP Wandsworth . In this pivotal role, you will deliver interventions that deter violence, promote life skills, and provide practical support for prisoners during their transition. You will: Organise and manage remand support hubs , offering guidance on housing, ID, banking, and employment. Deliver
Catch22’s Life Skills Programme
through group sessions and tailored interventions. Collaborate with prison staff and external agencies to provide coordinated support. Use strengths-based and solution-focused approaches to address individual needs. Respond to referrals, creating action plans that reduce risks of violence. This is an opportunity to build rapport with vulnerable individuals, enabling their reintegration into society while fostering a safer prison environment. Minimum Requirements: Experience working within custodial settings or with high-risk individuals. Strong advocacy and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, housing, and employment support systems. Relevant qualifications in youth justice, criminology, or related fields. Experience delivering one-to-one and group interventions. Community based with frequent visits to HMP Wandsworth. Screening: Successful admission to post subject to enhanced DBS check, police vetting check, and employer Right To Work in the UK check.
