This is a great opportunity for a Trading Manager to join our Alternative Feeds team, who offer their specialist knowledge on the feed markets and when to make buying decisions. In this role you’ll lead our team of Traders based in the North and be responsible for the day-to-day trading. About You So that you're set for success, we're looking for someone who has proven sales history ideally within the UK agricultural commodities marketplace, who is able to develop excellent working relationships across the business to maximise customer opportunity, quality of service, and value for money. You’ll be a natural communicator ensuring a joined-up approach is applied across our business to support the identification and engagement of potential new prospects. What you will be doing as Trading Manager… Motivate and support the team to deliver exceptional standards in the day-to-day operations Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and our sales team through strong communication and delivering outstanding customer service Understand the raw material market and keep regularly updated to ensure a highly skilled level of knowledge to make informed trading decisions Proactively manage the risk to the business by continually evaluating the trading positions About the Team Our way of working is built on trust and brings opportunity to all.
