Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons that engage and inspire students with SEMH needs Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote progress and attainment Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all students Foster positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each student Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4 Understanding of the social and emotional needs of students and experience working in an SEN setting (desirable but not essential) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students and promote inclusive practice A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice Benefits:
