This is a rare chance to work on cutting-edge projects while ensuring critical systems operate at peak performance. What You’ll Be Doing: Managing and maintaining

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

systems across development, staging, and production environments. Installing, configuring, and deploying new RHEL systems and applications with reliability and scalability in mind. Implementing robust security measures, including

system hardening, patching , and compliance with industry standards. Driving

automation

with tools like

Ansible

or

Shell scripting

to streamline provisioning and maintenance. Providing second- and third-line support, troubleshooting performance, networking, storage, and application issues. Monitoring and optimising system performance to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure efficient resource utilisation. Ensuring regular backups and creating disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and systems. Collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation. Staying ahead of industry trends and recommending improvements to enhance reliability, security, and efficiency. What We’re Looking For: 2 years + experience

managing RHEL systems in enterprise environments. Expertise in system security concepts, including

SELinux, firewalls, and permissions . Familiarity with

virtualisation platforms

like

VMware

or

HyperV . Experience with

enterprise monitoring and alerting tools . Prior exposure to

air-gapped environments

and managing offline repositories is a plus. Desirable Certifications: RHCSA

or

RHCE

certification (preferred). Your Skillset: Problem-solving and troubleshooting are second nature to you. You’re a clear and confident communicator who can explain technical issues to varied audiences. You excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and adhering to best practices. Why This Role?
