Cybersecurity Engineer - Salary: £53,000 - Location: North Somerset (2-3 days a week onsite)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT engineer to join a cybersecurity team at a leading manufacturing business. Within this role, you will have the chance to take ownership of cyber security issues from analysis all the way to completion! If you have a background in networking or cybersecurity tooling, or if you are a skilled systems engineer with a keen interest in cybersecurity, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will manage your organisation's security infrastructure, conduct vulnerability assessments, and develop cyber incident response plans.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading investigations and providing technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents.
Offering an escalation path and supporting the development of team members through coaching and training.
Implementing security controls and protocols across the organisation.
Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
Managing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security requirements.
Working with the IT Leadership Team to establish security policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations.
