About the Role Lead Software Engineer 6 Month Contract About the Company A key client of mine is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead the software engineering activities within one of their key delivery teams. In this role, you will support the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to ensure the team carries out technical delivery by leading key software engineering activities: providing support, ongoing maintenance, and continuous improvement to one of the key revenue-generating applications. Minimum Requirements Experience in leading software engineering activities within a wider delivery team. C# Experience of working in Azure Experience in a support role/team. Experience of building and maintaining delivery pipelines. Experience of working with external 3rd parties – coordinating and assisting their delivery. Experience in mentoring, supporting & developing software engineers to build capability, both of the individual and wider team. Knowledge of Azure Security best practices and tools. Terraform Responsibilities Support the Product Owner & Delivery Manager in ensuring the team carries out their technical delivery. Drive the technical direction. Identify & escalate capability gaps/needs that could hinder the team’s ability to deliver. Ensure technical considerations are coordinated between an external 3rd party and internal teams. Function as the technical liaison point between an external 3rd party and our internal infrastructure teams. Provide BAU support to a large legacy application. Help ensure technical support work is effectively coordinated. Seniority Level
