Specifications Technologist / Food Technologist/ Nutritionist

As the Food Technologist you must have worked within a similar environment within the food industry. You will be responsible for the technical integrity and legal obligations of the food supply aspects of the operation and driving continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, Technical & Marketing, some of your responsibilities will be:
Keeping a quality manual and other food safety documents including HACCP up to date and to ensure the company meets with all current food legislation. Supporting the successful completion of customer and third-party audits and visits. Gathering, calculating and submitting data for the company's obligations under packaging waste regulations and EPR. Undertaking GMP audits according to agreed audit schedule, distributing the results and ensuring the closure of actions raised. Leading and/or participating in root cause investigation when incidents or trends appear. Participating in the investigation of complaints, food safety close calls and trends ensuring effective preventive measures are put in place.
To be considered as the Food Technologist you will ideally have worked in a technical and quality role within the food sector for at least 2 years. It is also desirable to have a degree within Food Science and a good understanding of the principles of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives.
