Early Scholars are recruiting an AIM support practitioner to join their Athgarvan team. This is a full-time position 9am – 3pm, 30 hours weekly in our morning Pre-school Program and lunch club. You will be working alongside another Early Years Educator in a warm friendly inclusive environment.
Requirements:
QQI Level 5 or 6 – proof of certificate is required. Planned progression to QQI Level 7 an advantage. 2 signed references. Garda Vetting will be processed. Further training provided including First Aid, Manual Handling and Fire Safety. Role and Duties:
Support the Preschool Teacher in an ECCE classroom of 11 children. Support the Preschool Teacher in the day to day running of the service, ensuring adherence to Early Scholars policies and procedures. Assist with daily planning, child observations and scrapbooks. Excellent communication skills required to work alongside the key carer, families, children and staff. Benefits include:
