We are excited to open applications for our Engineering Apprenticeship program, designed to nurture the next generation of mechanical engineering talent. Based in our state-of-the-art facilities, this is a golden opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering, innovation, and sustainability. Apprenticeship Overview:

Engage in comprehensive training programs combining hands-on experience with academic learning. Work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in mechanical engineering. Participate in projects focusing on innovation and sustainability in construction materials and practices. Support the engineering team in designing, testing, and improving industrial processes and equipment. Learn about and contribute to our sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and enhancing efficiency. Typical Placement can include:

Learning the principles of engineering both academic and practical. Position, assemble, install and dismantle integrated electromechanical power and control systems. Carry out planned, unplanned and preventative maintenance procedures on integrated plant and equipment. Replace, repair and/or remove components within integrated plant and equipment and ensure its return to operational condition. Following all relevant Company, Health and Safety & Quality procedures and processes. Working with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, who will teach you how to operate and maintain a range of equipment. Preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule. Assisting work managers with mechanical problems at their sites. Reporting any unsafe plant or operations to your line manager. What We Offer:

Our minimum entry requirements are: 5 GCSEs Grade A*- C or 4-9, including Mathematics, English Language and Science. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Aggregate Industries does not offer visa sponsorship for apprenticeship roles. Who do we seek?

Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to engage in both academic studies and practical work. No prior professional experience required, but a strong interest in mechanical engineering or related fields is essential.
