Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor
to support and assess apprentices across Cumbria, combining
workshop-based teaching
with workplace assessments. Role Overview: Deliver hands-on
workshop training
in areas such as
lathes, pumps, hand skills, and CAD Assess apprentices in their
workplaces (factories & engineering companies) Guide and support learners through their qualifications, ensuring they meet industry standards What you'll need: HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering Assessors Award & Teaching Qualification Industry experience in machining, engineering maintenance, or similar fields A passion for mentoring and developing future engineers What we offer: Competitive salary up to £39,500 25-28 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy more) A varied role with a mix of
