Our client is a leading independent supplier in their industry. They offer the broadest and most advanced range of products and are continuously upgrading their world class production centres. They provide DC high voltage power supplies, x-ray generators and scientific applications. They are looking for a Development Engineer to join their team. The Development Engineer position is permanent, and we are looking for engineers who are available for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company during a very exciting period of growth. The Development Engineer position requires you to be qualified in a relevant discipline with experience and knowledge of high voltage requirements and the skills to develop power supply designs. Key Duties:

Develop and modify high voltage power conversion products. Design and build breadboards and prototypes to investigate/research new design techniques. Accurately document designs to enable full manufacturing packages to be created. Assume ownership of the assigned projects from conception to completion. Meet agreed time scales. Confirm developed designs meet their requirements. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Knowledge of up-to-date components, technology and manufacturing techniques. Ability to keep accurate records. Understanding of constraints of PCB layout and mechanical packaging. Schematic Capture using CADSTAR desirable. Experience of UC design with respect to analogue control systems would be desirable.
