This is an outstanding opportunity for a very senior MANDARIN CHINESE speaking E-commerce Director with a background gained in organisations such as TikTok Shop, eBay, Amazon or others. You will bring to this role your team management and Board experience as well as in-depth expertise within this fast growing e-commerce sector as the company looks to establish a network of local sellers and vendors in the UK and Europe and a UK team to look after them. This organisation offers incredible remuneration as well as a global career and this appointment is offered as 100% remote from anywhere in the UK. The company is looking to grow fast and to attract small independent retailers to the site in order to increase consumer choice and to enhance the e-tailers selling opportunity. TITLE:

You will bring to this role your team management experience as well as in-depth expertise within this fast growing e-commerce sector as the company looks to establish a network of local sellers and vendors in the UK and Europe. Reporting directly to the Board and looking after the UK market you will: Oversee the Operations Team based in China, Recruit and onboard a team of 10 or more people within Business Development who will look after and develop relationships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands with a view to them putting their goods on the e-commerce platform, Mentor, measure, and lead the team so that a best-in-class service is provided to vendors, Understand P&L and data analytics, Report back to the Board on progress, Be aware of consumer trends in the e-commerce landscape, Visit new merchants where required, Support merchandise partners and help vendors develop business plans (e.g., market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and logistics). Requirements:

Fluent Mandarin Fluent English At least 8 years of people management experience at Director level Happy to work fully remotely Solid e-commerce background is essential
