We are currently seeking a Branch Library Manager for our Client based in Portrush. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING IMMEDIATELY Rate of pay:

£14.32Ph, Saturday pay rate: £19.94ph Working on a 2 week rota basis: W1 – Week beginning Monday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Tuesday – 11:30 – 18:00 (30min break) Wednesday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Thursday – CLOSED Friday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Saturday – 09:30 – 14:00 W2 Monday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Tuesday – 11:30 – 18:00 (30min break) Wednesday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Thursday – CLOSED Friday – 09:30 – 17:00 (1 hour break from 1-2) Saturday – 09:30 – 14:00 Duties include: Registering clients Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations Providing all library services to meet the learning, information, leisure, and cultural needs of the local community. Essential Criteria:

Candidates must demonstrate how they meet the below criteria on their CV: A minimum of two GCE A levels OR equivalent or higher qualification PLUS a minimum of two years’ experience working with the public in a customer-focused environment within the last five years OR a minimum of three years’ experience working with the public in a customer-focused environment within the last six years. Experience of contributing to the promotion and delivery of front line customer services to a diverse range of people. Experience of using current computer systems/applications in a work context. Experience of working in partnership OR collaboration with internal and/or external customers. Experience of working effectively within a team environment to meet organisational goals/objectives. Ability to work a mix of mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, both at base and in other service points as required to support business needs. No criminal record which would prevent working with children and/or adults at risk.
