Allianz has a new role for a Financial Analyst working hybrid from our office in Bournemouth or Guildford. This is a one year contract to cover maternity leave. About the team: We are a dynamic team of accountants responsible for external reporting for the Allianz UK companies as well as interpreting and implementing new accounting standards across the Group. As a team, we are responsible for statutory reporting including being the first point of contact for our auditor and regulatory reporting including Solvency II. We have a close relationship with our group accounting colleagues in Munich ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements. Role Description: Assist the Financial Accountant in producing reporting to Allianz SE group. Contribute towards the preparation of the 2024 statutory accounts. Assist the Financial Accountant with Solvency II reporting. Liaise with the auditors on queries. Qualifications: A high degree of analytical skills. Good technical accounting knowledge. Ability to work under pressure and a proven track record of meeting reporting deadlines. Working knowledge of SAP or Oracle Financials is desirable.
