Job summary We are recruiting for Consultants in Radiology who share our ambition and vision to deliver the
Best of Care by the Best People . The appointees will be required to contribute to the general workload of the department. The posts are whole time 10 PA and the appointees will be expected to participate in the general radiology on-call rota, following the 3-month probation period and internal assessment. Family-friendly and part-time working can be considered. Main duties of the job Applications are invited for General Radiologist posts with Specialist interest in Gynae. The on-call is outsourced to an external agency after 9pm weekdays and after 5pm weekends. Medway Imaging Department is well equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. The successful candidate would join a progressive department led by dynamic Consultant colleagues. Applicants must hold a Radiology degree (ideally FRCR or equivalent) with broad training in Radiology. Qualifications Essential Full GMC Registration and FRCR CCST/CCT/CESR or equivalent (or will obtain within 6 months of interview date) IELTS (Academic) level, or graduate of a Medical School in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA, or Canada. Radiology Degree Knowledge Essential Cross-sectional CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Plain Film Clinical Governance principles Skills Essential Competent in CT, Plain Film, and Ultrasound; MRI would be beneficial.
