37 hours per week Applicants must have experience of the following: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering related discipline Ideally 10 years experience Nuclear industry experience Experience developing and preparing safety documentation Experience producing safety submissions Knowledge of regulatory negotiation, safety management and provision of specialist advice Experience managing safety case teams Ideally applicants should also have: Chartership status or working towards Role information: Provide nuclear safety input to design projects while ensuring nuclear safety requirements are met Prepare and agree the safety case strategy Ensure works meet the required cost and programme requirements Produce, verify and approve calculations, analyses, design documentation and technical reports Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication between them Lead and participate in hazard identification studies Co-ordinate the production of the safety submission Review and approve design changes Raise quality plans for work packages Produce, verify and approve technical work scopes Interested in this position?
