About the Role: Field Service Engineer Joining their Northwest-based team, you'll take on the role of an electrically-biased Field Service Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering & Services Director, you'll be responsible for conducting installation maintenance & fault finding activities on protection relay, circuit breakers & switchgear equipment across the UK & globally. Responsibilities:
Conduct PPM Services (Planned preventative maintenance) for Switchgear equipment projects. There's no reactive work in this role. Conduct the installation, maintenance, fault finding & servicing of switchgear equipment, circuit breakers, protection relays & control panels. Up to 11000 volts. Perform electrical testing such as insulation resistance, circuit breaker timing, and relay testing. Conduct retrofit work which includes upgrading or replacing ageing switchgear components. Happy to work across the UK, globally and work overtime where necessary (additional pay is there). Requirements:
2-3 years' experience in an engineering role working on switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relay or control panel equipment (or similar). 2-3 years' experience with the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and PPM of switchgear equipment. Minimum NVQ qualified in electrical engineering. Our client would consider: Maintenance, manufacturing, installation, service, automation engineers with an electrical bias working on switchgear equipment. Field Service Engineers (or similar) from similar industries such as oil & gas, renewables, utilities, manufacturing, power generation IF working on switchgear equipment. Package:
