IT Degree or industry expertise within a Microsoft world Key Functions of Role:
To provide support, management, and administration of a broad range of technologies including cloud, virtualization, security, and infrastructure, for customers and corporate personnel. Duties: Provide 2nd line technical support to external customers and on corporate systems Perform systems administration and management tasks Planning and delivery of technical projects Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to junior team members Ensure KPIs are met in line with SLA Maintain qualifications in a core set of IT infrastructure and security products Responsibilities: To comply with all company policy, procedures, and other instructions as may from time to time be issued including Health, Safety, Environmental, Security, and HR documentation. Skills: Minimum 3 years in a 2nd line role Broad range of technical knowledge and experience Skills and experience should include Virtualization, Cloud - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Server technologies, Shared Storage technologies, Networking, Firewalls, and Security technologies Good understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and best practices No formal qualifications are required but MCSE, MCSA, and VCP are desirable Desirable technologies - Microsoft Azure administration, O365 suite administration, Veeam Backup and Replication, VMware vSphere, Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Sophos Central technologies
