Key Accounts - Business Development Manager

Location: London, England, United Kingdom This role, although working with customers with a national bias, will be targeted at revenue growth primarily in the Southern regions of the business. To make clients aware of and promote Eon Controls and wider EON products & services. The role would be to develop relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders in order to understand their buying process, their budgets, decision-making process, influencing factors, and timescales to adapt Eon’s offering to meet their needs. Agree on standard terms as set through the national PSA strategy. Manage the PSA contracts to ensure KPIs are met, and growth targets/CM levels are achieved across all regions. Report monthly and quarterly strike plans outlining our understanding of the competition, future opportunities, and current PSA performance. Main Responsibilities To manage a blend of preferred supplier customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued revenue. Targeting framework opportunities, at procurement and customer bid team levels, to secure new opportunities and revenue growth. Nurture and develop existing relationships with Tier 2/3 preferred supplier customers along with target preferred supplier customers via national strategy and pricing models. Identify key PSA Southern region contacts and work with the Southern region account managers to ensure full PSA coverage is being delivered. To provide timely update reports and briefings, monthly reports of Southern PSA activity, and order forecasts, to the North Business Development Manager and Key Accounts Director. Promoting and selling the E.ON Controls brand of site-based and remote services and understanding all the sales propositions across all E.ON divisions/sectors. Promote value-added and sustainability-led services such as lighting, solar PV, etc. to generate opportunities for upselling. Be customer-focused at all times and deliver outstanding customer service by displaying a positive and proactive approach to meet the customer’s needs on every occasion. Act in a manner that continuously improves E.ON’s performance and growth. Forge and develop long-term relationships with existing and new key contacts and decision makers within existing or potential customers. Schedule regular contact with clients via face-to-face, remote or telephone meetings in order to maintain close working relationships and understanding of customers’ business, and identify new opportunities for E.ON. To work with the Sales and Projects teams in each of the Southern regional offices to ensure those teams have a solid understanding of our PSA customers and the different frameworks and have clear objectives to win business from competitors.
