Based in Derby, my client is a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Structural Engineering. We’re seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to join their busy team and have the opportunity to participate in residential design plus major development projects ranging from drainage strategies to flood risk assessments.
It is essential for this Senior Design Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
Already Chartered or working towards a Chartership status
A minimum of 15 years’ experience and have knowledge of Steel, Timber, Concrete or Masonry
Experience with either AutoCAD, Tedds, Master Series, Tekla or similar
Understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc
Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Design Engineer include:
Communicate and interact with external clients and professionals
Attend meetings, planning committees, public exhibitions and site inspections when needed
Work independently and as part of a team to deliver innovative and sustainable structural engineering designs
Create engineering outcomes that have a more positive influence on the world.
