MEP Lead Engineer Required in Northern Ireland

We are seeking an experienced MEP Lead Engineer with a background in the pharmaceutical sector to join our team for an exciting project in Northern Ireland on a 6 month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will be local to the region, already residing within an appropriate travel distance of Mayo. This role is based on a pharmaceutical site, and it’s essential that applicants have previous pharma experience. As the MEP Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of the project, ensuring that all systems are designed, installed, and commissioned according to the project specifications and within the set timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all MEP-related activities on-site Coordinate with subcontractors and other engineers to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure compliance with local regulations, health, and safety standards Supervise and review MEP designs, installations, and testing Troubleshoot any issues and propose solutions to maintain progress Maintain communication with project management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

Must be located within an appropriate travel distance of Mayo Right to work in Ireland or an EU passport is required Previous experience in MEP engineering in a lead role, with a focus on pharma sites Strong knowledge of MEP systems and project management in the pharmaceutical industry Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work 6 days per week, with half a day on Saturdays (paid as a full day)
