Wood is currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join one of our key service lines within our Operations Business Stream - Upstream. If you are looking for a role where the secured pipeline of work is extremely stable and are a strong technically minded leader with great inter-personal communication and influencing skills then this could be an opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Driving technical assurance Managing and supporting Contract / Project Engineering Managers Executing assigned business objectives Actively leads in Competency and Training Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities Developing and retaining motivated and competent people Undertake the role of process owner Performance reporting to senior management Qualifications: HNC or equivalent with extensive engineering experience Chartered Engineer or equivalent with recognised professional body Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position Role-Specific Skills: Capable of representing Operations EMEA and client to business associates in a professional manner Capable use of discipline software and proactively encourage development Excellent interpersonal skills Able to maintain discipline and resolve conflict Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people at all levels Enthusiastic, proactive, conscientious, and keen to learn Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
