The successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain training in a sub-specialist interest with a preference for Chest/Cardiac Radiology, Gastrointestinal Radiology, Gynaecological & Uroradiology, or Oncological Radiology. These can include the opportunity to learn relevant interventional oncology skills (biopsies and drains). General Radiology Sessions (20%):
Reporting chest and body CT, hot seat plain film reporting, general US, and presentation at clinico-radiological meetings. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the Senior Radiology Registrar on-call rota, currently a full shift pattern, albeit with Consultant supervision. This timetable will be flexible and chosen by the candidate to include sub-specialist reporting sessions as well as multidisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at the time of commencement is required.
