We're recruiting for a

Lecturer - IT

to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The salary scale for this role is £25,494 - £44,526 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.

An additional market-rate supplement of up to £10k may be available for this role, depending upon an individual's skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Lecturer - IT role:

Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with a focus on constructive and development feedback for our students Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standards in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them in their own development and future progression Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector

Our ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors OR Have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course you will be delivering, and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme OR Have significant IT industry experience, be qualified to level 3 in the subject and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme

All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
