Step Teachers and a Secondary school in the Barnet area have joined forces. The school's goal is to empower students with the knowledge to make a positive difference in the world. They are currently looking for an experienced English Teacher to begin right away on a supply basis. As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Possessing a strong knowledge of the English language and English Literature curriculum at the KS3 and KS4 levels. Upholding a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment. Displaying a strong, mentoring personality toward students. Cultivating positive relationships with students to inspire good behaviour and a passion for learning. Cooperating with and supporting colleagues and additional classroom staff. Complying with and implementing the school's policies and participating in their support. Requirements for an English Teacher: QTS or equivalent. Recent mainstream secondary school-based experience teaching English. A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
