An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care. The ability to be resilient, communicate effectively, and utilize a variety of communication tools is essential. Our dedicated staff team supports our individuals to learn and develop their skills to aid in their independence. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humour, sense of fun, and creativity in supporting our individuals with day-to-day life. Where You Would Work:

The Croft, Newtownabbey. The Croft consists of 18 single and 6 double apartments which are all single storey. The development is located in the Abbots Cross area of Newtownabbey, close to local amenities and is facilitated by public transport. The Croft has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the people we support who have a diagnosis of dementia and assessed care and housing needs that make it difficult for them to continue living independently in private or social housing. A full-time Activity Co-ordinator delivers a range of tailored activities using the communal hub area, gardens, and community resources. Why Praxis Care:

Salary Details:

Support Worker Full Time, Part Time, and Relief Contracts available. £24,133 - £26,647 per annum, based on working 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies. Closing Date:
