Zenith People are working on behalf of our client who are a North-East based Manufacturer and installer and are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Support Assistant to join their dynamic team of Engineers. Their product range is sold globally. The ideal candidate will have a technical background paired with a passion for delivering a high standard of Customer Service involving working closely with potential, new and existing customers throughout the whole process from conception to completion. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, troubleshooting whilst assisting in company growth and maintaining an excellent reputation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services Training will be given on specific products and services Producing and checking of Design pre installation Using an in-house computerised system to complete calculations Identify and engage with potential customers to understand their technical requirements. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients and deliver on site training as and when required Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes and contracts. Maintain accurate records of order activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Knowledge of how to use basic hand tools to support installations Provide pre and post-installation support and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities. Qualifications & experience required Proven experience in technical Customer Service or Sales or a similar role. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as needed.
