We are a well-established Thai Massage clinic in the heart of Ashburton. We require additional qualified and experienced staff. A skill test and at least three years of verifiable experience are necessary, as clients can be hurt; therefore, genuine skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to assist healing.
Utilising a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.
Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.
Employing techniques such as acupressure or Shiatsu, and complementary aids like infra-red lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal and mineral therapies to assist recovery.
Assessing clients' physical condition and case history, and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
A thorough knowledge of Thai Traditional Massage practice is essential for this position.
Located in Ashburton, normal hours are expected to be 40 hours per week between 10 am and 8 pm. Overtime is at the normal rate.
