NRL are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor & Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on behalf of one of our clients in the Westlakes, Cumbria area.
Expectations within the role:
Cost Management - assisting the preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts for projects General Commercial administration Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in issuing applications for payment, time sheet entry and compensation events Helping with the assessment of subcontract applications Liaison - communicating with other members of the business to ensure a project can be carried out successfully
You will need: Excellent levels of communication to ensure all parties involved in a project are aware of what is taking place and work can run smoothly High levels of organization so that costs are managed effectively Great levels of motivation within a work environment to ensure that work is carried out to a high standard Strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience in a commercial landscape/ experience of commercial administration (preferred) Quantity Surveyor Degree (desired but not essential)
