Location: Bury, England, United Kingdom In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out full BMS commissioning to comply with the project requirements. This will include the production of schedules, description of operation, modification of the panel design, production/modification of drawings, and the creation of software and graphics when required. You will be expected to work well as part of a commissioning team but also efficiently on your own as required. You may be responsible for supervising junior engineers, ensuring they work effectively and safely while on site. You will be part of the project commissioning team, so sharing technical knowledge with other engineers is encouraged while obtaining support from the team when necessary. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Check emails daily for instructions Responsible for making backups of software and strategy files as required for all associated systems/sites To liaise with sub-contract engineers and clients and report back with any design or engineering changes or issues Responsible for building and maintaining strong client relations Responsible for day-to-day management of sub-contractors Responsible for attending site-based commissioning/progress meetings as required. Responsible for the overall commissioning of the project and ensuring the project is delivered in line with the program of works and intended design Responsible for carrying out field point-to-point checks, terminations, panel and wiring mods where required Responsible for commissioning various DDC control systems (TREND, Tridium or others as required), completing wiring and commissioning schedules, updating control panel drawings and the description of operation in the commissioning file Produce a daily report of works carried out and submit it to the relevant Project Manager highlighting any delays, the cause, and the timescale Ensure that all ‘AS COMMISSIONED’ information is collated and returned to the relevant Project Manager, or saved appropriately Update the Server regularly Ensure witnessing packs are kept up to date and appropriately signed off Responsible for diligent demonstration and handover to clients on projects Carry out site surveys as required and produce fully detailed reports complete with recommendations Attend training courses and meetings as required Ensure works are carried out within the project method statement and risk assessments and amend where necessary with any required deviation being reported to PM or H & S representative Enforce H & S interests of the company on a day-to-day basis for all employees and sub-contractors, create and enforce method statements and risk assessments, and update when necessary Adhere to all client and company ISO, Health & Safety procedures, and policies Provide technical support to team members Be able to produce, submit, and amend technical submittals for ECS projects including but not limited to the following as required: Description of operations, Equipment schedules, and Operating and Maintenance manuals. Be able to produce IO wiring diagram to be sent to panel designer and then review design once received from panel shop Be able to produce RFI's and tech subs to be sent to the client Any other duties deemed necessary by the directors/managers of the business Inclusion
