Job offered by: TN United Kingdom

To meet growing demand for our services, we are looking for individuals with a range of expertise and experience and a keen interest in aviation. You will already have experience working in an aviation or safety management / safety assessment role with clear demonstrable evidence of having applied techniques to manage risks, and to maintain and improve performance within a complex, safety-critical environment. This may be in aviation but we also welcome applications from other sectors who can bring their safety and broader risk management expertise to an operational, dynamic and hugely varied aviation industry undergoing significant change. You will either have an in-depth understanding of aviation operations and how technology is used to support it, or you will be familiar with different safety techniques including Hazard Identification, risk assessment techniques, requirements management as well as safety argument production techniques such as GSN. Whilst you will be interested in technical work, you will also be keen to use and develop your capabilities by working on wider consultancy projects and other activities within our rapidly growing aviation and UK businesses. We are looking for individuals who can use their expertise to take projects through the entire lifecycle from uncovering the initial opportunity all the way through bid preparation and delivery to ensure our customers’ expectations are met and exceeded. The consultancy environment can be very fast-paced with opportunities emerging at very short notice that will require a flexible, agile approach to delivering excellence in consultancy services and meeting or exceeding client requirements. If this sounds like a challenge that appeals to you, we would love to speak with you to understand how you can fit into our team. We have a flat collegiate structure and work in small project teams where our philosophy is to encourage you to manage your own career and time. You’ll have far more autonomy than our competitors offer and, in return, we ask that you deliver high-quality work and ensure that our clients continue to come back to us (currently 80% of our work is repeat business!). As part of the business development, extensive client engagement and delivery focused nature of the role, you should expect to travel both within the UK and beyond. In return, we offer a competitive salary and a range of additional benefits including discretionary bonus, pension, private healthcare, life insurance, in-house training, a great work/life balance and opportunities to travel. Qualifications

Candidates should be degree-qualified ideally in a numerate subject, preferably within an engineering, science, or aviation-related subject. However, your existing professional experience and future ambition will be equally as important. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an operational or safety-related role in a safety-critical environment. In order to thrive in our fast-paced consultancy environment within a senior role, you must have a proactive nature with a drive to see projects through to a conclusion. You must also thrive on problem-solving and the application of your excellent critical thinking skills. Your written and verbal presentation skills must be of a high standard and you must enjoy the prospect of client engagement whether in workshops, training sessions, one-to-one meetings or simply networking over coffee. We crunch a lot of data, write a lot of reports, share our learning and knowledge with each other in small project teams, and get to know our clients well. Additional Information
