At Beatson Cancer Charity we support and enhance the treatment, care and wellbeing of current, former and future cancer patients and their families. We support people affected by cancer, every step of the way, making the journey easier by transforming the way cancer care is funded and delivered. We work in partnership with the NHS, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and all related facilities. We provide services, as well as funding specialists, research and education to invest in a better future for cancer patients and their families. We also offer the wider community a unique opportunity to contribute to the fight against cancer in the broadest possible sense. What You’ll Do as a Trading Manager: As the Trading Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day management of all retail activities. This dynamic role requires a hands-on approach to deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect the charity’s commitment to quality and care, as well as ensuring operations are effective. You will be tasked with setting and achieving financial targets, ensuring that all retail ventures contribute significantly to Beatson’s overall mission. A key aspect of your role will involve strict adherence to legal requirements and NHS standards, ensuring compliance across all operations, including food safety, health and safety, and quality assurance procedures. You will lead by example, nurturing a positive and motivated workforce culture by inspiring and motivating a diverse team of staff and volunteers.
