TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes. Tasks and Responsibilities

Project Management of equipment upgrades, relocation, or new installations. Ability to work with Manufacturing Engineering and Technical teams to create project scope and equipment specifications. Ability to work with suppliers to obtain costings in line with project requirements, and consolidate to create full project budgets. Carry out CAPEX submission, from costing through to justification and approval. Ability to carry out Engineering CAD designs for Manufacture externally or internally via 3D Printing, alongside site and plant layouts, with 3D modelling being advantageous. Work with all stakeholders, from Operator to Director level, and across multiple disciplines; Planning, EHS, QA, Management, to achieve project aims. Have a high understanding of Regulatory and Safety Compliance around Engineering Project Management, including CE requirements, CDM, Permit to Work processes. Oversee all project installations, including reviewing Risk and Method statements, supervision of internal personnel and external contractors. Ability to compile and submit Change request and Change management documentation in compliance to company and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of Energy Isolation and creating and implementing procedures. What your background should look like:

Qualifications in an Engineering or Technical Discipline. Strong Project Management experience, with Microsoft Project being advantageous. Excellent communication and reporting. Time served experience in similar position. Working to Timelines and managing Budgets. Flexibility to work on a number of projects and ability to prioritize. Enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude towards driving change. Competencies
