Our client, a recognized transport company, is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Avonmouth.
As a Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with containers and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.

Up to 40,000 The Role: Routing company-owned vehicles Plan routes as cost-effectively as possible Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers' Hours Ensure all customers are kept up to date Complete all necessary admin Work with the Manager to ensure all vehicles comply with company standards Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g., costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, and handling queries in accordance with the company's requirements. The Requirements: Extensive transport route planning skills Container experience preferred, but a planning background with a transport company will be considered Excellent geographical knowledge Strong communication skills
