The primary goal of this role is to lead travel product simplification initiatives and oversee the coordination of related projects, with a focus on product standardization and automation:
Travel Products Standardization : Drive the assessment, formalization, and execution of key projects to define the targeted framework for Travel Products in close collaboration with central teams (Transformation, Underwriting, C&S…) and local product stakeholders. This includes product strategy, marketing, and content development initiatives.
Industrialization of Travel Product Production : Lead efforts to explore and implement a wizard and related process for a simplified process for product wording generation & management, leveraging AXA Partners' global assets in close collaboration with the Central Transformation Team.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Product Standardisation Stream:
Analyze Consumer Needs & Market Trends : Conduct thorough analyses of consumer needs and market trends across key regions to identify market gaps. Collaborate closely with local product teams and the Travel Product & Value Proposition Team to refine our product strategy and adapt and enhance the standard product offering accordingly.
Align Products with Strategic Goals : Collaborate with internal teams to identify gaps and align the standard coverages roadmap with both global strategic objectives and local market requirements.
Standardize Coverages in Collaboration with UW Teams : Explore and drive opportunities for further standardization of travel coverages, working closely with Central Underwriting (UW) teams to ensure alignment with underwriting guidelines.
Competitive Analysis & Market Vision : Continuously assess competitor offerings and maintain a centralized vision of local product requirements in key markets to ensure competitiveness and relevance of AXA Partners’ travel products.
Increase Buy-in for Standard Offers : Lead efforts to promote the adoption of standard offerings among local sales and product teams, ensuring alignment with business development strategies and local market needs.
Coordinate Product Marketing & Deployment : Oversee the development of product marketing content in partnership with C&S teams and define clear timelines for deployment to ensure cohesive and timely launches.
Education & Training Initiatives : Contribute to initiatives to educate and train both local and global stakeholders on AXA Partners’ standard travel products, focusing on the legal and compliance constraints tied to these offerings.
Drive Adoption & Migration to Standard Schemes : Spearhead projects aimed at increasing adoption of standard coverages for new business opportunities, as well as managing the migration of existing partners to standardized product schemes.
Product Requirement Analysis : Continuously assess product requirements, design solutions, and develop programs to ensure successful execution in line with market demands and strategic priorities.
Lead Product Approval Process (PAP) : Oversee the Product Approval Process for existing coverages, ensuring regular review and updates to the product catalog to maintain compliance and relevance.
Contribute to Innovation Pipeline : Actively contribute to enriching the pipeline of new ideas for travel products.
2. Product Industrialization Stream:
Lead Product Industrialization Initiatives : Define and lead initiatives aimed at industrializing the travel product development process, coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Process Redesign for Efficiency : Analyze and redesign existing product production processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and shortening time-to-market.
Implement Flexible T&Cs Production : Lead the definition and execution of new processes and tools for flexible and efficient production of standard terms and conditions (T&Cs). This includes defining requirements, identifying required resources, selecting tools, mapping stakeholders, and creating a roadmap for the project.
Drive Computable Contract Standardization : Contribute to transformation initiatives by modeling standard coverages as computable contracts, ensuring that AXA Partners is positioned at the forefront of product innovation and automation.
Qualifications:
Experience in project management and/or Business process reengineering within Financial Services.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of insurance business value around features/functions.
English a must, other language (French, Spanish) is a strong plus.
