If so, apply now, as Baines Simmons, leaders in aviation safety training and consultancy services are looking for a Marketing Executive to join either our Bracknell or Gatwick based team to cover a maternity contract for a period of 6 months.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing tactical marketing to support Baines Simmons, along with supporting and delivering the Baines Simmons marketing strategy. You’ll help to shape our strategy, driving new acquisition across web, social, email, content, events and other media channels, as well as being involved in retention campaigns.
Collaborating with internal teams, including sales and business development, you’ll champion social media, creating and publishing all content and reporting back on key metrics.
You will be tasked with building, optimising, promoting and creating engaging content (supported by the subject matter experts) and updating the company’s websites. You’ll also assist with delivering the calendar of campaign activity.
You will be self-motivated, have previous varied B2B marketing experience, be digitally savvy and analytical with a strong reporting skillset and have a hands-on approach.
You will:
Manage social media, creating and publishing all content and reporting back on key metrics
Assist in the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns
Develop email campaigns
Help to manage our PPC agency and lead on Paid LinkedIn campaigns
Manage and update the company’s website (CMS) and database (CRM)
Help to develop and implement SEO and content strategies across our websites
Assist with projects to improve the design, usability and functionality of our website
Creating and maintaining image / video assets for social and website projects
Assist with reporting on Return on Investment (ROI) on a monthly basis
Support on data related projects such as:
Using our CRM system to identify target audiences
Reviewing and reporting on monthly business KPIs
Contributing to monthly results reports
Work with our creative agency to produce a range of content and marketing materials (including brochures, adverts, social media campaigns, PR and e-marketing)
Organise events, including presence at exhibitions, speaker opportunities and webinars
Assist with internal communications (internal group marketing updates, newsletters, intranet updates etc)
Manage relationships with third-party providers and key stakeholders within the group
Assist with general marketing activity aligned with sales strategy and business development activity
Perform general marketing administration tasks
What we are looking for:
At least 2+ years’ experience in varied marketing roles
Previous experience in a similar B2B industry (within the training or education, safety or aviation sectors would be a huge advantage)
As hands on self-starter who can work autonomously
Proven experience in management of social media networking tools for a B2B sector
Experienced in creation Paid Social campaigns
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and trends
Previous experience with a CMS, and building content in multiple environments
Experienced working with stakeholders across all levels, including Sales, Functional Experts and Business Development teams
An analytical mind and experience and confidence in reporting return on investment across a variety of marketing channels
Previous experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
A strong team player, as well as an ability to work independently
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Advertising or Marketing
