Sellick Partnership are excited to be working with a leading law firm in Sheffield who are looking to expand into their employment team. You will work alongside senior and junior associates to support and assist clients in connection with a wide range of employment matters. The work is varied, interesting, and stimulating, enabling you to engage with clients at a senior level through your case work while also receiving support and supervision from your colleagues. You will be responsible for advising and assisting clients in connection with largely contentious work with some non-contentious work also available on employment matters. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing for employment tribunal cases, including preparation of Claim/Response, Employment Tribunal Applications etc. Advocacy in employment tribunals. Drafting correspondence to the Employment Tribunal, opposing Solicitors, witnesses, ACAS, client advice. General advice - e.g. conduct of disciplinary investigations; grievance procedures; redundancy programmes; general queries about flexible working, maternity rights, paternity rights, etc. Corporate support. The successful candidate will be: 3-5 years PQE. Experience in contentious and non-contentious work. Attentive to detail. Willing to accept new challenges. Commercial awareness.
