Engineer

to join our team and grow their career in the construction industry. Job Description: Working within the Engineering team, this role will assist with Engineering aspects of upcoming development sites, coordinating efficiently and accurately evaluating key information to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of developments. You will work closely with other departments where necessary ensuring cost effective and buildable designs are provided. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the appointment of engineering consultants, management and issuing documentation to support planning applications including Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage strategies, Engineering Strategies, and other reports as necessary Work on-site to support the project team with inspections, measurements, and quality control. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Liaise with contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and techniques. Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental policies. Requirements: Engineering degree, 2:1 or above Previous experience in a similar role within the new build housing sector. A high degree of commercial awareness Proficient ability in using AutoCAD, further training can be provided Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment. A full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
