Personal Care Assistant
for a young person 25 hr/wk @ £12.00/hr in TS5 - FTE - £23.4k - Middlesbrough - TS5 Position Overview
We are looking for someone to join an established team providing care & support to a 24 year old male who is quadriplegic with complex learning difficulty. Responsibilities
Provide full assistance with personal care, eating/drinking, and other daily tasks. Supervise the use of a power chair. Engage in activities such as walking, days out, and using a hydrotherapy pool. Support the individual in meals out and other leisure activities. Qualifications
Reliable, patient, and physically fit. Good communication skills and a calm demeanor. Enjoyment of outdoor activities and a good sense of humour. Experience with clients with learning difficulties and use of equipment (moving and handling) preferred, but full training will be provided. A clean full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a large mobility vehicle (Renault Master) is essential.
