Location – Falmouth Pay – up to £21 per hour Full Training Provided We are looking for a carer with a great sense of humour who loves animals and is interested in working with our client with complex health needs. Our client has Scoliosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy and likes to live life to the full as much as possible. They live with their family in a busy household who are directly involved in their care. They have a love for animals and will wish you to be involved in supporting them in caring for their many pets: dogs, hedgehogs, and gerbils. They are able to make decisions independently and choose how they want to spend their day. We are looking for a team that will support them to live a fulfilled life while working alongside family who will manage clinical needs. We are recruiting for a dedicated team of complex care assistants who are committed to supporting this package of care on an ongoing basis. Full training and clinical support will be given to all of our team. We ask that you have experience in the following areas: 6 months in adult care Moving and handling Personal care Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing key health provision functions 2 days a week to start, increasing to 5 days a week, across day shifts. Duties may include supporting the parent to deliver key health provision functions and healthcare tasks related specifically to the person-centred needs of our client, ensuring that our client remains completely safe and comfortable in their own home environment. You will be fully supported at all times by our qualified Nurse Managers, who oversee all Onecall24 Healthcare packages of care. You will form a key part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team within this role, becoming part of a team that truly believes in quality and person-centred care. You will receive full training in all specialist and person-centred elements of care delivery and 24-hour support. Due to the nature and potential location of this work, access to your own transport is essential.
