A leading M&E Building Services contractor based in Staffordshire is recruiting for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their successful team. As a company, they specialize in providing high-quality M&E solutions to a wide range of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, education, leisure, retail, and office spaces. This is a family-run business, established over 50 years with a great reputation resulting in lots of repeat business from clients. Job Overview: As the successful Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our mechanical contracts, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and adherence to budget and safety regulations. Projects typically range in value from £5k up to £5m. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Prepare and review project proposals, budgets, and schedules Oversee the planning and execution of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance as needed Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC Management role. Experience of healthcare projects would be an advantage although not essential. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering HVAC projects on time and within budget Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed If you are a motivated and experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
