As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Deputy Clinical Site Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Deputy Clinical Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical services across the hospital. You will work closely with the Clinical Site Manager and senior management to ensure smooth operations, operational efficiency, and outstanding patient care. The Deputy Clinical Site Manager will be part of the wider UHB Clinical Site Team and will be responsible for the day to day running of clinical capacity and flow on a specified site involving out of hours, weekends, night duty and Bank Holidays. The post holder will continually act as a credible professional leader, providing support and advice to Trust employees. To provide senior nursing support and advice to all clinical areas within the Trust, to undertake patient assessment and utilise advanced clinical skills as needed. The Deputy Clinical Site Manager will contribute to and actively manage the emergency and elective admissions processes across the site with leadership from the Clinical Site Manager, Deputy Divisional Head Nurse and Group Manager - Capacity, in order to provide safe and appropriate patient placement and achievement of related Trust targets whilst maintaining contingency plans for emerging issues. Qualifications

Registered 1st level Nurse NMC registration Experience

Experience of leading and managing a team Up to date clinical experience in acute areas including evidence of skills updates Able to influence change Able to manage and resolve conflict Effective planning and organisational skills Knowledge of evidence based practice Experience of multi-disciplinary & multi professional collaborative working Exposure to capacity management within an acute setting Additional Criteria

Ability to action own initiative Evidence of sound decision making skills, particularly in Emergency situations. Evidence of effective organisational skills and ability to work with a team Ability to promote professional nursing image and act as a positive role model Able to motivate others and work effectively in a team Able to communicate to all levels of staff in a confident manner Diplomatic and assertive with clinical and managerial problem solving Can establish areas for concern and refer these assertively to relevant personnel, ensuring patients receive effective care and attention Able to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays across all UHB sites Able to manage and prioritise work ensuring that all objectives are achieved Disclosure and Barring Service Check
