Job Location: United Kingdom, South East Job Type: Contract Posted 4 days ago Required for a six-month initial contract – fully remote – a lightweight missile ballistics expert to support cross-functional teams combining theoretical work with practical testing. Required experience: Lightweight missiles. Performance optimisation: projectile muzzle velocity and pressure upon projectile and barrel. Design and dimensioning of propellant charges. Determining launch loads. Flow and thermal analyses. Recoil dynamics. Sound pressure. The work tasks will involve producing decision-making materials to support the development of performance, functionality, and safety from an internal ballistics perspective.
