Introduction RMS are looking for an M&E Designer with 7+ years of experience - who will be responsible for carrying out detailed construction level P&ID designs for large scale heat pump focused energy centres, district networks and sub plantroom changeovers. Projects mainly consist of Low Carbon Energy Centres including but not limited to Heat Pumps, CHP plant, boilers, ASHP, packaged plantrooms, district networks and sub plantroom changeovers including design, controls, flushing testing and commissioning. Heat Pump Solutions range from Ground Source, Air Source, Waste Heat Recovery, River source, open and closed loop. Projects ranging from 200kW right up to 40MW in size. Working in a fast track environment with the UK’s leading heat pumps design and build specialists. Working closely with our other designers and 3D fabrication team. Key Responsibilities Support internal teams with design and technical queries. Understand design brief and carry out P&ID design / checks. Prepare BOM and Equipment Schedules from P&ID. Working with concept designs to bring them up to full detailed construction level RIBA stage 6 design. Liaison with other departments (i.e. Sales, Engineering, Fabrication etc.). Carry out site surveys with Senior Team to capture existing system details. A commitment to and high awareness of current safety legislation / implementation is an imperative. Proven detailed design experience in the renewables sector. Proven track record of successful delivery of designs. Ability to manage multiple projects at different phases simultaneously. Ability to manage a range of complex tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to manage all technical aspects of the project. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work to tight timescales/self-starter. Willing to commute to Coventry head office

everyday . Willing to learn and grow with the organisation. Required Skills M&E RIBA Stage 3-6 awareness. Knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit. Knowledge of mechanical system hydraulics. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Engineering degree or equivalent. Beneficial Skills Background in Building Services or Heating & Ventilation. Previous experience with large energy centers. Previous healthcare and hospital project experience. Knowledge of the HTMs. Likeable and collegiate attitude.
