Management Accountant (Belfast) VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative market leader in their field based in Belfast to recruit a hands-on Financial/Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will be primarily responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets, and carrying out variance analysis across multi jurisdictions and multi-currency portfolio. Experience of working with financial systems (SAGE/XERO) coupled with strong Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. What you'll do: Preparation of monthly management accounts Collate and analyse data, delivering high quality monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to the business Responsible for production of key financial documents including statutory accounts, monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes Manage and participate in monthly accounting cycle including assisting with the organisation and coordination of the month end processes and board reports Assist in preparation of annual budgets Supporting provision of information to managers in relation to monthly and quarterly accounts reporting Identify and implement continuous improvement projects of accounting and financial reporting processes and financial systems with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.
