Main duties of the job
We are commissioned to provide a wide range of dermatology services to our local communities within Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. Our services include minor operations, skin cancer, vulval, patch testing, phototherapy, psoriasis and general dermatology. The successful applicant will be required to participate and deliver as many of these services as appropriate along with supporting our ward liaison service. Any cases requiring input from our colleagues in other specialties i.e. general surgery, ENT, plastics are managed in house through internal referrals.
This is a 10 PA post to enhance the care of our dermatology patients within the clinic and minor operations environments, and also on the hospital wards. You will assist the consultant team, specialty doctors and specialist nurses to provide a service that meets the needs of our ever expanding caseload.
