An Assistant Management Accountant vacancy working with a leading manufacturing firm in the local area. Initially a 15-month contract to cover maternity, with the potential for it to become permanent due to ongoing business growth. You will be provided with an extensive handover period and will work alongside an experienced and stable team. As Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Team to ensure the timely processing of supplier payments and accurate reconciliations, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely and collaborate with all internal teams, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure that all payments and reporting obligations are managed proactively and effectively in line with agreed terms. The Role – Assistant Management Accountant:

Completion of various balance sheet reconciliations. Completion of various inter-company reconciliations. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger in the Company’s ERP system. Variance analysis of costs as reflected in the P&L. Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Posting journals. Bookkeeping; including bank reconciliations and processing purchase ledger invoices. Assisting with VAT Returns. Assisting with the Company’s annual internal and external audits. Provide ad hoc cover for purchase ledger and accounts assistant duties. The Individual:

4-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an SME environment. AAT qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent. Committed team player with strong communication skills. The Company:
