Accountancy & Finance, Executive and Board Selection The role involves providing accurate financial information within tight deadlines and the compilation of budgets, forecasts and overseeing the Finance Department's daily operations.

THE ROLE: PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: To be an integral member of the Management Team providing input into all aspects of decision making regarding the Financial running of the Company. To implement the Finance Director's financial strategy for the Company. To manage the Finance Team to ensure deadlines are met, processes adhered to & compliance achieved. To provide support & training where necessary. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, half year & annual management financial information. Review of all HMRC and Vat declarations within set timescales. Maximisation of working capital. Preparation of all year-end statutory audit information & to project manage the annual audit. Review financial controls & to recommend & implement appropriate change. Support the Finance & Operations Director by providing ad hoc financial support/advice as required. Any other relevant & reasonable duties that may be requested by the Finance & Operations Director.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA). Previous experience of working as a Financial Controller and experience of managing a small team. Microsoft Dynamics experience essential. Change management essential. Computer literate with advanced Excel & good working knowledge of Word.

THE CANDIDATE: Ownership and responsibility. Energetic, committed, enthusiastic, hands on approach. Ability to plan, organise & meet deadlines. Good communication & management skills. Accuracy & Attention to detail. Analytical.
